Subject: EXECUTIVE POWERS
Good Morning,
The ineptitude of some government officials can be quite stunning. Our chief executive, the Prime Minister, has to tolerate this to a large extent. Since The PM is not elected by the whole country she is elected by party insiders she has to please the most powerful members of her party in order not to be voted out by no confidence. The Barbados Chief executive needs to be voted in by the entire country. That way she has the power and the vested interest to root out incompetence as she sees fit.
The people of each constituency should also be able to petition for an election for
their particular member of parliament.
