Subject: Government corruption Reform

Land tax department is the most corrupt department in barbados!!!!! They pushed down the building in the easiest to reach area of town and sent it up warrens in a funny corner near tge back door that no one uses in warrens tower!!!!!

Worse yet it looks as if the covid pandemic is still raging thrre on the inside because it is deadly quite and looks abandonned and a little bit of brightening up/cleaning or remodelling to look like a functioning and welcoming, working part of government!!!!

The department looks like a ghost town and like it wouldn't be open for a few months- there are no office workers/attendants behind the counters!!!!! When clients eventually arrive to this clandestine department they have to wait way too long and even staff from other departments there look as if don't know anything and they don't do much and you have to ask them for information that they should be telling you up front!!!!! There should be government agents and a department hotline not a pbx for clients!!!! The number in the phonebook doesn't work!!!!!

Community/resource centres have been neglected (some for decades) and need urgent upgrades!!!! Firstly they need to be open in the morning from 8am and can close at 10pm. They need to be staffed with more than two people for different shifts-one from the morning and the other for the rest of the hours!!!! Numbers for the hq and a few centres are known not to be working for a while- this is ridiculously unacceptable!!!!

These people should have degrees and obviously be able to interact very well with the public/their community and must be mannerly!!!! The centres should have a small library and technologies to serve the public!!!!! Evidently most of these aforementioned requirements have not ever been adhered to and for a republic all this must change!!!!!
