Hi,

The following are a few suggestions for the Barbados Constitution:

  • The whole country should be able to vote for the Prime Minister and the President. The Prime Minister should be in charge of parliament

  • The president should be in charge of all administrative and executive departments Allow for citizen initiatives.

  • 25% of registered voters sign a petition in favor of a new law

  • Majority of the voters cast ballots in favor of the citizens initiative.

  • Parliament required to design and pass the legislation.

  • Heads of ministries should be based on competency not based party affiliation Heads of ministries should be confirmed by parliament.
