Subject: Contracts of work & Deep dark evils.

There needs to be a legal body made
available to all persons to have contracts reviewed before prospective employee sign.

Housekeeping especially in villas, private homes excetera need careful scrutinity of hours to be worked and what constitutes a work week.

It must be clear how overtime is paid
or allowances for late work and transportation.

Persons are being exploited by managers with the precedent set that 48 hours is a work week and the Labour Department has encouraged this.

Overtime is not paid either and split shifts systems allow further exploitation of staff who have to remain at work as it is not possible to leave and return .

These staff are made to serve the "massa" and clean up the kitchen although they had already cleaned the house from early in the morning.
Again l stress overtime is not paid.

These employers can afford to pay full compliment kitchen staff to work shift systems but the realtors practise the owners of these elitus properties in exploitation.

At the very least laws should speak specifically to this and be made mandatory for employees to report it.

A method of anonymity should be established as persons will fear victimisation.
Heavy fines need to be placed on these realtors as they know better but profit and greed propels the evils meted out to persons just trying to make a living.

Disenfranchisement of the poor is always by their own.
These homeowners have laws in their country to follow and they do.

Why not here?

I am on my way out now but l have two children ,nephews and nieces.
We raise and teach them to have high expectations in a protective system in the constitution. Make it happen.
